Le mura (The walls) are the scenery of ordinary life but also the unflexible limits of labyrinth; protection from the unknown or refuge for ignored violence. How many meanings do they have and how they are shaped from human being, who is also present in the action.
From these considerations we began to work on this play, together with awareness of how much urban enviroment, in which human kind is the undiscussed responsible, has been affecting human behave in turn. The result is a route spelled by rythms of a holy play, where every single action and path of human life is determinated by non codified, rigorous rituals, in which human being is passively conformed or detracted by an impulse of utopia.
An ancient dance, a women dance rises from cobblestones of memory and time. A deep music spells the rythm of their advancing; a music which throws and calls back ritual steps.
A taste lasting for all the performance without claiming to solve any mystery, but rather reveal it as human.
We are all into the play, like a game of bounces and catches, of bolts and return.
Ten dancers-performers lay down in a place which is the space of daily life rather than a simple stage.
Threads made of feelings, unavoidable events, complex meetings, entwine in order to build the irregular plot of experience; the one that time makes compact to set up the walls of civilization.
