This year marks the eighth edition of VIE Scena Contemporanea Festival, an annual appointment focused on the contemporary theatrical scene, trying to involve both well known artists as well as the emerging ones. The latest innovations in dance and music are also part of the program. Organized by Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione and Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena, this important international festival draws artists from every part of the world in Modena, Carpi, Vignola, Castelfranco Emilia and Rubiera.

The modern and intellectually lively atmosphere of the Festival appeals a wide and varied public, both from Italy and abroad.

VIE has its headquarter at Teatro delle Passioni, in Modena. In addition to being a theatrical location, this place perfectly embodies that open minded and thought-provoking atmosphere that characterizes the Festival. Teatro delle Passioni is, in fact, a space for cultural exchange among artists, journalists and public.

VIE offers to its audience a favored and, most importantly, critical point of view on contemporary artistic scene. The festival is a valuable chance to discover interesting novelties and bring highly topical issues into discussion.
