Quotidiana.com presents at VIE Grattati e vinci, third and last chapter of the Trilogia dell’inesistente - esercizi di condizione umana, of which somebody had the chance to watch at Teatro delle Passioni, last fall, the second chapter, Sembra ma non soffro.
The esercizi di condizione umana (exercises of human condition) that link the chapter of the trilogy, end up in Grattati e vinci, creating through powerlessness. Powerlessness as an appropriation of a will that does not subdue to an ideological inheritance. The work is inspired, without making it obvious, to the illusory try to change tentative to change our own fate without playing with abilities like creativity or bravery, but scratching, one after the other, the golden square on top of a scratch card.
In this compulsive way of act, which is the same in every aspects of daily life, it seems that winners are those who do not rush, who do not wish, but they take back what is left of self-determination searching a proper and personal truth and an existential nature.
In Grattati e vinci two figures stay in the uncomfortable space of two pic-nick tripods, in a awkward representation of laze as a test of not doing anything. From this condition of neutrality and incapacity it comes out a progressive growth. The aim of getting a critic interpretation of real, increasing doubts and sharing it with the audience in its lively restlessness are continuing in this project too.

quoridiana.com – cultural association, was instituted in Rimini in 2003.
Founded by Roberto Scappin and Paola Vannoni, two contraries and opposites who both embody two logics, two different versions or the reality: one researches the shapes, the mediation; the other, Manichean, disdains compromises. Constant in our theatre it’s the political identity, in a aesthetic and language research that proceeds in the essentiality of the word, but never in its refusal. A theatre that wants to face the things from an inconvenient point of view, starting from what is considered not right even to think.
