Nothing Female Is Alien to Me is a dance creation project freely inspired to the novel “Baradla Cave” by the czech artist Eva Svankmajerova.
Baradla is, at the same time, a body and a place, in constant relation with the body and the society’s philosophy.
Its showing is connected with a daily place: the street.
Street as space opened to the chance, in that will be gaudily cut out a ritual space, not foreigned from the Africans techniques of puppet theatre’s performances.
Street as beginning of a reflection’s way that touches the general theme of the progressive importance that the fine perception is having in the social, and in the urban, background.
This work deals with the nature of perception in relation with the thin body, and it focuses on a deep and irreducible “ghost” dialogue, existing between body and objects.
There is a research on the philosophy of yoga, on breath, and on the presence of a second body, made of energy, intuitive but exact, that also the objects own, thanks to the tactile memories that they keep.
The dialogue between these thin bodies is a ghost dimension, that happens through a gradual empaty process between audience, objects on stage and actor, who uses very careful techniques, but opportunely confused, so that there is an energy surplus that recalls attention.
The project provides the use of existing objects and materials opportunely transformed instead of new objects. It is a project that hugs the environment.
