After Argonauti (2005), Barberio Corsetti comes back at VIE keeping on his personal study on human nature, thanks to new technologies.

Tra la terra e il cielo, his new work, thanks to the use of croma-key (bluescreen) technique, largely used in cinema, allows audience to distort its perception, plunging it in a blue scene and allowing actors to create scenes that otherwise would be dangerous, expensive or impossible to realize. The show deals with the day of four characters: a man and a woman, successful and full of certainties; a boy and a girl facing the uncertainty of life.
Each of them lives a special day, because, beyond people belonging to every day life, they meet angels, devils, and in a certain moment , the Death, with her retinue of spirits, that appears to point out that humanity belongs to her.
At the origin there is a moral question about what can be defined “good” and what “evil”, trying to find an answer to the question: why is the evil possible in the world and in the human being?
Every actor, besides playing his main character, also plays “secondary” roles into the other characters days.
This continuous shift of roles creates a saraband of situations and a wide galley of contemporary characters along with metaphiysical precences who remain imaginary.
A perceptive short circuit between presence and images, reality and imagination that well puts itself out for metaphysical theme.
Objects, places, environment aren’t real, everything is developed in the void, in a blue scene that is pure virtuality. The technique used is the one of the “chroma key”, a play revealed and manifested thanks to an electronic device and images elaboration that will lead the audience through a multiple vision and the assembly of a virtual reality.
