The Compagnia Fabrizio Favale e Le Supplici considers the body as vehicle though which arts appear. The dancer’s body, according to the company founded in 1998, contains memories that only narration can reveal. The sensation is that we always tell the same story, and from that sensation originates the necessity to study archaic mithology. The research on Mahabharata, a sacred poem from India, starts in july 2005 and goes on through episodes. The one that will take place in Modena is part of Raggruppamento II, and it is inspired from Bhagavad Gita (The canto of the blessed), taken from book six of Mahabharata.
Fabrizio Favale, choreographer and dancer, works with the choreographer Martina Danieli and the light designers Fabio Cantaluppi and Franco Cova. Favale interprets this tale like an intimate gesture: the scene, half covered by a black band, creates an access to imagination.
