La Tercera Obra is based on Fear and Misery in the Third Reich, by Bertold Brecht. To write his text, Brecht read testimonies of journalists and witnesses believing that a reaction of the audience wuold be possible only with identification in the role it would be possible a reaction of the audience. He created in this way an atypical text in his production, full of feelings and emotions. This is the reason why Teatro la Maria has decided to face this text, contextualizing it in a country, like Chile, that has passed through a similar experience with Pinochet.
Thanks to an editing mixing Brecht, hip hop and street slang, this performance becomes a starting point to reflect upon power.
