The collaboration between the Mexican composer Murcof and Simon Geilfus of the French visual label AntiVJ is a project of monolithic proportions that combines electronic music with video projections processed in real time.
Murcof's poetics, always focused on the investigation of the space and the relationship between the infinites (silence, emptiness, cosmos), find a perfect visual analogy drawn by Simon Geilfus with his microscopic particles, complex geometries and organic elements that are projected in a striking three-dimensional perspective. Through the use of an innovative technique, the images materialize between the stage and the audience creating an immersive experience in which each slight variation is perceived and amplified.

Fernando Corona, aka Murcof, born in Tijuana - Mexico in 1970 and raised in Ensenada, he was for a time a member of the Tijuana-based Nortec Collective of electronic musicians under the Terrestre project name. In 2000 he returned to Tijuana, but has since relocated to Barcelona, Spain.
Murcof is one of the most important names of the global electronic scene. Minimalisms glitch, samples of strings and brass, crosses between classical and electronic characterize the sound experience that we hear in this live performance. He has recorded LPs which has gradually shifted from the horizon more closely digital paths towards more innovative and amazing products that reflects the influences of minimalism, the contemporary classical European and German kosmische musik and arrive at a sound monumental, monolithic and visionary, now instantly recognizable as his sound. Martes (2002), Utopia (2004), Remembranza (2005) and Cosmos (2007) are the pieces of a project that sees the title of each disc bear the initials of his name and which is now frantically awaits the next stage, the previously announced Ocean. The value and originality of the art of Murcof test are also the many collaborations and prestigious events in which he was invited, raising its international reputation over the years: concerts held at the Peter Harrison Planetarium in Greenwich, the two performances with the ensemble Mousique Nouvelles Jean-Paul Dessy in the cathedrals of Bourges and Brussels, the Montreaux Jazz Festival (in collaboration with Talvin Singh and trumpeter Erik Truffaz, with whom he also posted on the Blue Note "Mexico"), The Geode IMAX in Paris, the live soundtrack for Fritz Lang's Metropolis at the Cinematheque in Paris, the Sonar Festival in Barcelona with pianist Francesco Tristano. We should also mention its presence in the Bios, the Mutek. The numerous apparitions at the Auditorium in Rome, but also at Ravenna Festival and MiTo Festival in Milan. Murcof has also composed the soundtrack for three films (Amores Perros, Nicotine and La Sangre Iluminada) and recently has experienced fruitful collaborations with the world of dance and visual art, worthy of mention in this regard audiovisual projects with the aforementioned collective AntiVJ and the Bolognese artist Saul Saguatti.
