Autoritratto is the final act in a drama workshop made by the Company along with a dozen of citizens of Novi di Modena e Rovereto, with whom they have worked on a event that speaks of their own lives, dreams, of tears, loves, memories and hopes. In the final phase of the workshop, the group met two prestigious artistic realities of the territory of Novi: the Choir of Mondine conducted by Maestro Maria Giulia Contri and the actor and director Paolo Di Nita of theater group Those of '29. All together they prepared a show, a sort of portrait of themselves and their community.
Piccola Compagnia Dammacco
Mariano Dammacco is an actor, author and theatre director. He devoted himself mainly to theatrical research around his work as author. In twenty years, he has conceived, wrote and directed may works such: Sonia la rossa ( awards ETI/Scenario 1992-‘93), Amleto e la statale 16 (awards ETI/Vetrine 1996), Dialoghi con le piante (nominated for Ubu awards 1999), L’ultima notte di Antonio (awards dramaturgy “Il centro del discorso 2010”). Dammacco has developed over the years disparate collaborations: we remember those as a playwright with Maria Paiato, Lella Costa and Silvio Castiglioni, and those as Opera director at the Circuito Lirico Lombardo.
